Ah, the fic challenge that I never finished. *headdesk* Crazy real life happened and then I just never got back to it. Now... I'm sorry, but it honestly doesn't look good that I'll write more for this ship. FWIW I think everything I've written (some of it is still unfinished) is linked here:

I just re-watched a bunch of the best S2 J/I eps a few weeks back and OMG, they were indeed a brilliant couple! What amazing chemistry. And the angst!! Love it.
